Minecraft Build Inspired by Control is A Brutalist Daydream

It's always awe-inspiring to see an awesome Minecraft design. Although Minecraft isn't really a game about inheriting some bizarre shape-shifting weapon or battling evil fridges but it does provide a very narrow description of Control. This is a very useful comparison, since we're going to be looking at this Control-inspired Minecraft build.



Ominous_Hippopotamus on Reddit Ominous_Hippopotamus on Reddit, who is also the owner of our favorite handle of all time, shared an image of a hardcore base they've been working on , inspired by the brutal beauty of The Oldest House from Control. The Oldest House is an immensely strange place filled with strange trinkets weapons, objects, and beings from other realms. The whole area can be described as unsettling, and the video that Ominous Hippopotamus put up of their base captures this beautifully.



While we only get a short glimpse into this base, it feels extremely precise. The visitor is welcomed by an open atrium and the welcoming plant life. However, the video turns around and displays the unsettling geometry that extends out and creates a twisted the space.



It's an amazing recreation of the location and, even though it's unlikely to feature the Hiss floating around and creating havoc, it's a solid reminder of how much attention and love is put into the buildings you encounter in Minecraft. It's clear that a lot of effort and time was spent to make it look authentic. The lighting is impressive.



It's this same focus on details that makes players create things like the Ghostbusters theme song out of Redstone or even making a data pack to allow players to play around with Breath of the Wild abilities. screamy guy It might be the same kind of love that drives people to transform bees into Steve too but we're not sure about this.
