The Naturist Colony
First off there are a variety of definitions of the term "colony." The significance may also transform based on the particular example with rank to what's referenced.
A bunch of the same kind of animals, plants, or one celled organisms living or growing together.
Nations can colonize:
Several emigrants or their descendants who settle in a distant land but stay subject to or closely related to the parent nation. Soin essence, a colony is aregion that is politically controlled by a distant state; a dependency.
People also can colonize:
Several people with exactly the same interests or ethnic origin concentrated in a special region. An example: the artist colony in Woodstock.
Since the everyday use is so closely associated with the aspect of taking over land and establishing a different set of regulating laws, the term "colonizing" tends to come off as a militant and emphatic action.

Nudist Colony - For starters, we would like to correct a misconception that naturists live in communities. The fact of the matter is that most naturists see routine communities, clubs and resorts (merely without clothes).

Nudist Colony
You will find naturists who live in full-time. These may be year round nudist clubs, but they represent a small subset of the general community. Most naturists will get offended when the term "nudist colony" comes up.
Since most people associate the term with strong forcefulness of imparting a new moral value system on people who may rather not subscribe to these new ideals, most naturists will take offence to the term Nudist Colonies.
Simple fact - naturists dont colonize. Nudists live in routine gated communities. So please attempt to refrain from using that term "naturist colony" and follow the appropriate one - naturist community or naturist club / resort.
The Nudist Community:
Nudist Community - A lot of people have a curiosity about naturist resorts, nude beaches and the naturist community generally.
What really goes on behind the gated entrance of a facility dedicated to promoting the nudist lifestyle? Are there wild parties and orgies happening on the grounds? Not at all.
Any club or resort which is a member of the American Association of Nudist Recreation (AANR) or is otherwise a reputable organization, has rules and regulations that its patrons must abide by (or at least they should have!).
One of the fundamental rules forbids overt sexual behavior. These rules are made to ensure everyone can feel comfortable and appreciate their visit.
Nudist Community
The nudist communityis not considerably different from the so called "standard" environment in which most individuals dwell. They only happen to love doing them without the limitation of wearing clothing.
One of the freeing matters about a naturist environment is that individuals are judged and assessed based on their internal being rather than on external looks.
Within most naturist clubs and resorts are several unclothed recreation activities and scheduled events designed to bring people closer together.
There may be parties, dinners, sports competitions, lectures, concerts, festivals and other occasions that address a mutual interest. Many outdoor activities such as unclothed volleyball, softball, skinny-dipping, naked hiking and so forth, are accessible, just as they would be in a more traditional resort or nudist parkexperience.

The nudist community is, or at least should be, an accepting environment. Every attempt is made to make sure people are comfortable and relaxed. There is absolutely no pressure to participate in any task. Folks quickly learn the etiquette expected at a naturist club.
After an extremely brief time, seeing so many naked people doesn't even raise an eyebrow. Folks get used to the environment very fast and simply go about their business as normal.
Again, in closing we would really like to urge everyone to refrain from using the term nudist colony or communities and just simply stick to the terms nudist community or naturist club! Thank you!
