For example, cdC:\Users\Admin\Desktop\Minecraft Server

After changing the directory, type Java"-jar" or "name your jar".jar in the command prompt. Press Enter. Server lists Although it will display an error, there's no reason to worry.

#3 - Make adjustments in Eula.txt and take note of query.port settings

After you have run the jar, you will find a new text file called Eula in the server folder. Open it using an editor for text and change eula=false to eula=true and save.

The players can also access a file called "server.properties," containing all important information and settings, including query.port gamemode difficulty, query.port, and many more.

#4 - The server may be started

Enter the jar launch command again. The server will now start without any errors. You can join the server by typing localhost, or your public IP address into the IP address box. Other users can join the server by adding ":25565" at the end of your public IP address.

Just share your IP address with trusted friends and family. Never give it to strangers, as it could pose a security risk to your family and house. Click here to learn more about how to set up a Server.
