The day has finally arrived: Minecraft's Caves & Cliffs Half II replace has come to both Java and Bedrock Editions of the sport, bringing new world era and some moderately lovely new caves.

We've covered the best way the new terrain technology works already once we acquired our mitts on the Snapshot earlier this year, but after a number of extra tweaks, patches, fixes and updates, the official release of Caves & Cliffs Half II is a much more stable experience.

To obtain the new update in your Change, go to the Minecraft icon on your house display, press the + button to open the Choices, go to "Software program Update" and choose "By way of the Internet". This may test for the replace, though it might have downloaded it mechanically already.

As for updating your current worlds, Mojang have offered directions:

How do I update my world? On Bedrock Version, once you have up to date to 1.18 and go to load up an existing world, you may be shown a prompt and asked in case you wish to make a backup copy of that world. Games For those who do wish to make a backup, be sure you hit the prompt and then click by to replace your world and begin playing.

Sadly, among the options initially planned for Caves & Cliffs Half II - just like the Deep Dark biome, the Warden, and archaeology - have been pushed back to the next replace, 1.19, known as "The Wild Replace".

Here's the changelog for Bedrock Version (that's the one on Switch):

- Increased the world height and depth, adding 50% extra vertical area to construct and explore- New cave technology to explore beneath your existing worlds- New cave and mountain biomes like Lush Caves and Jagged Peaks- Drastically up to date and improved biome, cave, and ore technology- Added several new music tracks to take pleasure in during gameplay- Fixed over 70 bugs, issues, and parity modifications
