Mojang, a Minecraft developer, announced in October that the second part of their massive Caves and Cliffs update would be available in "a month or so". It's getting close to here, since Mikael Hedberg who is the Technical Lead of Minecraft Java Edition, has tweeted something that's a bit obscure.

It might not be anything to be concerned about however, Mojang employees are known for using Twitter to tease upcoming features - or, in some cases, accidentally doing so, at least and the tone of the tweet, specifically "pre-paring", hints at a pre-release for Caves and Cliffs Part 2.

Pre-releases are usually released a few days to weeks prior to the official launch. Fake It Till You Make It Fake root They are an intermediate between "snapshots" which are the test bed for new features that players may decide to take advantage of and the full update. The first pre-release for 1.17, the most recent update, took place on May 27th, and the full update went live on the 8th of June.

What is this implying? It's a good thing, because it means we won't have to wait long for the 1.18 update that will bring a brand new worlds to your Minecraft worlds. It could be out before the end of November!

Mojang also revealed , in this year's Minecraft Live presentation, that the Deep Dark biome with its new mob The Warden would be moved back to The Wild update in 2022.

Are you prepared for the update? Have you tried the snapshots? Let us know in the comments!
