I arrived back home and a couple of hours later we had another bad storm with lots of wind, thunder and lightning. We have a garage on our property and after the storm had passed we noticed that the storm had knocked the drain pipes off the east side of our garage along with 4 big pieces of siding. I'm not sure yet how much that will cost to be replaced, but I'm definitely not looking forward to it. This storm also destroyed two of my favorite Azalea's that I had planted a couple of years ago. Limbs are still scattered all over my yard.




An hour later we saw signs for the Goldfield cemetery. Then a deathly dark and silent town. One lone patrol car stuck its head out of an alley and then turned the other way. We rounded the 20 mph 90 degree turn at 5 mph and headed out of Goldfield. Then we saw the multi-colored emergency lights ahead.

The 17th is an uneventful par three, with no blood drawn. The final hole is a great closer. It's a dogleg right that again requires a tee ball that stays short of a creek about 250 yards out. Anything right ends up in the trees, and trying to hit it long and straight off the tee ends up over the fairway and with a big tree blocking your approach in. After splitting the fairway, I found myself 160 yards away and in need of some last-minute heroics. I striped an eight-iron that was tracking all the way - until it bombed over the flag and ended 40-feet long. Calling my putt aggressive is one way to put it - I blew past the hole and onto the fringe. Not my finest close, with four putts securing yet another inferior showing relative to Hansard.

Street Fighter- I loved this game as a child. Every kid that lived in my neighborhood came over and played it on a regular basis. You might imagine how intrigued I became as a young boy when I heard that one of my favorite games was becoming a movie. If you've made it this far, you're rewarded with a shot into a green that slants drastically from front to back. No damage here - we both scratched out a par.
