Hugely popular block-building game Minecraft could soon be turned into a film.



Minecraft creator Markus Persson revealed this week that the game's maker was talking to Warner Brothers about the project. best games

Movie news site Deadline revealed that one of the producers of the recently released Lego Movie is handling the project.



Warner was planning to make the "live action" version of the game into a feature film the company told Deadline.



The film is in its early stages, as Warner has just purchased the rights for Minecraft's iconic characters, blocks, and monsters.
